We’re currently busy transforming some waste ground and building a multi-purpose barn to house our catering kitchen and wood fired pizza oven – which we believe is the most northerly wood fired oven in the UK!
Once we’ve tested our menu, we are aiming to open during spring 2021, serving pizza, freshly baked bread and some wonderfully indulgent treats! All our food will come in compostable packaging, so not only does the food taste amazing, but even the waste is good for your garden. You will be able to order by phone or online and collect fresh from our ovens.
We will be using age old artisan Italian techniques when making our dough which is freshly prepared every day. Our slow risen dough means more flavour and easier digestion. We use the best quality fresh ingredients, locally sourced where possible and our tomato sauce is hand made from delicious sweet plum tomatoes from Napoli.
Even our traditional wood fired pizza oven is hand built using traditional materials. At around 450 degrees, it cooks a thin-based Neapolitan style pizza in just ninety seconds.
